Professional websites built to help every kind of customer, homeowners, property managers, facility teams, and commercial clients, quickly understand what you do, trust your team, and book the job. Designed to feel as dependable as the work your crews put in every day. New to this? My home service website guide covers the basics.
Based in Charlotte, NC, I work with general contractors and home service businesses locally and nationwide.
One conversation. No pressure. We'll figure out if a new site is actually the right move for your business.
You don't need every one of these to be true. Even one is usually enough to be quietly costing you customers.
Design trends move quickly. A dated website makes even a great business feel behind the times.
Most people find you from their phone first. If the mobile experience is rough, they rarely stick around long enough to see the desktop version.
If you hesitate to send your website to a serious lead, that hesitation is telling you everything you need to know.
Visitors shouldn't have to guess what you do, who you serve, or why you're worth choosing over the next option.
Real photos of your crews, your trucks, your finished work, plus reviews and license info, right where new customers look first, so they're already sold by the time they reach out.
Your specialties, service areas, response times, and what sets your crew apart are front and center, not buried behind stock photos and generic 'about us' copy.
Click-to-call, quote request forms, and service-area CTAs on every page, sized for the phone screen most of your customers are searching from.
The site finally looks like the company behind the trucks, polished, organized, and dependable, so homeowners and commercial buyers don't second-guess hiring you.
Not a menu. A short list of the pieces I bring together into a website that actually feels like your business, and works the way a small business owner needs it to.
A site built around the way your business actually runs, your services, service areas, financing, emergency hours, not a template that's floating around every plumbing directory.
For established general contractors and home service businesses whose current site is scaring off leads. Same phone number, same great crew, brand new first impression.
Most of your leads Google you from a driveway or a parking lot. Every page is designed to load fast and be easy to tap on a phone before it ever gets touched on a laptop.
Clear, straightforward copy in the words your customers actually use, no fluff, no industry jargon, no talking down to the homeowner or the property manager reading it.
A dedicated page for every service you offer plus a gallery of real jobs, before-and-afters, installs, repairs, so people see proof, not promises.
Click-to-call buttons, quote request forms, and 'schedule service' CTAs placed exactly where a homeowner or property manager is ready to reach out.
Cities and neighborhoods you serve, answers to the questions your office already fields daily, pricing, warranties, emergency response, cleared up before they ever call.
Proper page titles, headings, service-area pages, and schema so Google understands you're the plumber, roofer, HVAC pro, or cleaner in your city, not just another business.
I handle the technical side, connecting your domain, hooking up Google Business Profile, testing every form and phone link, so you don't have to think about any of it.
We talk about your business, your customers, and what your current site isn't doing for you. No pressure, no pitch.
You get a clear outline: pages, timeline, what I need from you, and what happens at each step. Nothing hidden, nothing vague.
I design the site, write the copy, and share progress along the way. You give feedback in real revision rounds, not endless back and forth.
Once approved, I handle the launch and stay available for questions afterward. If anything needs a quick tweak, you know where to find me.
Pick the level that fits where your business is right now.
Best for businesses that need a clean, professional website that makes them look legit and makes it easy for people to contact them.
Page titles, descriptions, headings, and search-friendly technical basics.

Start My WebsiteBest for businesses that want a more strategic website built to help turn more visitors into calls, quote requests, or inquiries.
This option goes deeper than just making the website look good.

Build My Business WebsiteSome projects need more than a standard website package.
Custom pricing may apply for:
Good to know: If your project is more involved, I'll put together a custom scope and price based on what you actually need.
Get a Custom QuoteEach website package includes the features listed at its advertised price. Projects requiring additional pages, advanced functionality, or work outside the standard package scope are quoted separately.
Once your website is live, things change. You might have new project photos, updated services, or business information that needs adjusting. That's why I include complimentary content updates with my website packages.
Starter Website $900
Business Website $1,500
Complimentary updates cover small content changes, such as updating text, replacing existing photos, or changing business information. New pages, redesigns, new functionality, and major structural changes are not included.
Update rounds are requested by you and do not roll over. Post launch support for Custom Website projects is determined by your individual proposal.
You do not need to write the website yourself. Copywriting is included.
Most website projects are split into two payments:
The first payment reserves your project and allows the build to begin.
Larger or more custom projects may take longer. The clock starts once I have everything I need from you.
You don't have to figure that out on your own. I'll recommend the simplest option that fits what your business actually needs. You won't be pushed into a bigger website just for the sake of spending more.
Let's Talk About Your Website“Kara did a great job working with me within my budget, and creating a beautiful and functional website. I’m not tech savvy so I appreciated her confidence and know-how. She’s good. You should hire her.”
“If your looking for someone who will take the essence of your business and what you hold dear to your company than you must have Kara dragon and build your website. She took exactly what we wanted to convey and through carefully selected text, photos and graphics she did exactly what we were looking for. Reach out to her and let her create, redo or tweak your site. She knows her stuff”
Your website should sell for you, even when you're on a job site or asleep.
It should look like a company you'd want to hire.
It should say what you do in the first five seconds.
It should make people want to call, not click away.
You shouldn't have to become a designer to get any of that.
Most projects wrap in two to three weeks. Some finish sooner, and larger scopes can take a little longer. Either way, you'll always get a clear timeline before we start.
Scope is set per project based on what your business actually needs. Some sites are three pages, others are ten. We agree on the structure before design starts.
Yes. Clear copy is included as part of the website design service, and I'll ask the right questions so it sounds like you and speaks to your customers.
Yes. I treat every redesign as a brand new website. Starting fresh is faster and turns out better than trying to rework an old platform, and if there's anything from your current site you want to keep, I'll carry it over to the new one.
Every site is designed mobile first. Most of your visitors are on a phone, so that experience is treated as the priority, not the afterthought.
Details about your services, your customers, any brand assets you have, and photos or examples of your work. I'll send an organized request so nothing feels overwhelming.
You're not left to figure it out on your own. If questions come up or something needs a small tweak, I'm here. Ongoing support is available whenever you want a hand keeping the site fresh.
Yes. Once your project is completed and paid for, you own your finished website and have full access to your own website account. Your website is never kept under my account.
You pay for your own hosting directly through your hosting provider. Hosting fees are separate from my website design price, and I help with the initial hosting setup as described in your package.
In most cases, yes. As long as you have access to your domain, I can connect it to your new website. If you'd rather start fresh with a new domain, I can help with that too.
One conversation is enough to figure out if a new site is the right next step. If it isn't, I'll tell you.
